The Best Doner Kebab Recipe| Homemade and Easy | Lockdown Recipe



Doner kebab is one of my favourite take out foods, but I wanted to show you all my take on the authentic Turkish doner kebab recipe. It’s so easy to make and with the tips and tricks I share with you, this recipe will be a breeze!

Ingredients

Doner kebab

500 grams meat- minced
1 tablespoon thyme (or oregano if you can’t find thyme)
100 grams fat- minced
½ tablespoons chili flakes
2 tablespoons yogurt
½ tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 large onion
2 tablespoons butter

Tzatziki sauce

4 tablespoons yogurt
¾ teaspoon dill
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 cloves garlic- minced
1 small cucumber- chopped
Salt- to taste

Red sauce

2 tablespoons yogurt
a pinch of red chili flakes
1 tablespoon red chili paste
1 teaspoon vinegar
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
A pinch of pepper

Koban salad

1 tomato – chopped
1 green pepper- chopped
1 cucumber- chopped
½ teaspoon parsley
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil

How to make kebab at home – easy&delicious

English Version
ingredients: tortilla wraps, chicken breast, mayounasse sauce, 2x white yogurt, salad, onion, tomatos, garcil, pepper, salt, gyroskebab spice and oil

how to: Chop the chicken breast, add salt pepper, kebab spices and oil. Mix everything and place in the fridge for about 2 hours. Prepare dressing: Combine two yogurts, 6 spoons of mayounasse sauce and garlic.
Fry the meat in the pan, about 10-15 minutes. Bake wraps on pan of both sides after about 1-2 min. Put into wraps salad, dressing, meat, onion tomatos, dressing again and wrap it.

Slovak Version
Ingrediencie: tortilla wraps, kuracie maso,tatarska omacka, 2x jogurt biely 150g, salat, cibula, paradajky, cesnak, cierne korenie, sol, gyroskebab korenie a olej

Postup: nakrajame maso na male platky, pridame sol cierne korenie, kebab korenie a olej. Vsetko premiesame a dame do chladnicky na cca 2 hodiny. Pripravime dressing: zmiesame 2 jogurty, 6 lyziciek tatarskej a cesnak.
Maso pecieme na panvici cca 10 – 15 min. Nasledne opecieme placku z jednej aj druhej strany po cca 1 – 2 min. Na placu polozime list salatu, dressing, maso, nakrajanu cibulu a paradajku. Zalejeme este dresingom a zabalime do alobalu.

‘Kebab’ is an emotion for real & we know it! Here’s a classic seekh kebab recipe for you to soothe your cravings.

SEEKH KEBAB

Ingredients

500 grams mutton mince (keema)
Salt to taste
2 tsps Kashmiri red chilli powder
¼ tsp black cardamom powder
A large pinch of saffron
1 tsp caraway seeds (shahi jeera)
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
½ tsp dried mint leaves
1 egg
2-3 cloves
½ tsp ghee
Butter for basting

Method

1. Take mutton mince in a large bowl, add Kashmiri red chilli powder, black cardamom powder, saffron, caraway seeds, coriander leaves and dried mint leaves.
2. Break in the egg in the centre and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a food processor and process till a smooth mixture is formed.
3. Transfer the smooth mixture in a bowl and keep in the refrigerator to marinate for 1-2 hours.
4. Preheat the oven at 200°C.
5. Take a hot charcoal in a small bowl and place it in the centre of the mince mixture. Add cloves and ghee in the hot charcoal. Cover the mixture and let the flavour infuse for a minute. (Do not let the infuse for too long)
6. Dip your fingers in ice cold water and take a portion of the mince mixture and pat onto skewers and shape into kebabs.
7. Place the skewers on to a baking tray and place the tray in the preheated oven. Cook for 10-15 minutes, basting with butter occasionally.

This is a very simple and easy way of making homemade chicken doner kebab

Ingredients

Four boneless chicken thighs
Greek yogurt – 1 cup
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Paprika – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Olive oil – 2 tbsp

Ingredienti per la pita (10 da 85 gr ciascuna)
-500 gr di farina 0
-300 gr di acqua
-6 gr di lievito di birra fresco – oppure 2 gr di lievito secco disidratato
-25 gr di olio extravergine di oliva
-10 gr di sale
-1 cucchiaino di zucchero

Ingredienti per il ripieno di carne:
-500 gr di petto di tacchino
-500 gr di petto di pollo
-il succo di mezzo limone
-3 cucchiai di olio extravergine di oliva
-1 cipolla bianca
-1 spicchio d’aglio
-1 cucchiaio di aceto di mele o bianco
-1 cucchiaino di sale
-1 cucchiaino di pepe macinato
-1 cucchiaino di timo
-1 cucchiaino di paprika
-peperoncino a piacere
