The Best Doner Kebab Recipe| Homemade and Easy | Lockdown Recipe



Doner kebab is one of my favourite take out foods, but I wanted to show you all my take on the authentic Turkish doner kebab recipe. It’s so easy to make and with the tips and tricks I share with you, this recipe will be a breeze!

Ingredients

Doner kebab

500 grams meat- minced
1 tablespoon thyme (or oregano if you can’t find thyme)
100 grams fat- minced
½ tablespoons chili flakes
2 tablespoons yogurt
½ tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 large onion
2 tablespoons butter

Tzatziki sauce

4 tablespoons yogurt
¾ teaspoon dill
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 cloves garlic- minced
1 small cucumber- chopped
Salt- to taste

Red sauce

2 tablespoons yogurt
a pinch of red chili flakes
1 tablespoon red chili paste
1 teaspoon vinegar
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
A pinch of pepper

Koban salad

1 tomato – chopped
1 green pepper- chopped
1 cucumber- chopped
½ teaspoon parsley
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil

How to make kebab at home – easy&delicious

English Version
ingredients: tortilla wraps, chicken breast, mayounasse sauce, 2x white yogurt, salad, onion, tomatos, garcil, pepper, salt, gyroskebab spice and oil

how to: Chop the chicken breast, add salt pepper, kebab spices and oil. Mix everything and place in the fridge for about 2 hours. Prepare dressing: Combine two yogurts, 6 spoons of mayounasse sauce and garlic.
Fry the meat in the pan, about 10-15 minutes. Bake wraps on pan of both sides after about 1-2 min. Put into wraps salad, dressing, meat, onion tomatos, dressing again and wrap it.

Slovak Version
Ingrediencie: tortilla wraps, kuracie maso,tatarska omacka, 2x jogurt biely 150g, salat, cibula, paradajky, cesnak, cierne korenie, sol, gyroskebab korenie a olej

Postup: nakrajame maso na male platky, pridame sol cierne korenie, kebab korenie a olej. Vsetko premiesame a dame do chladnicky na cca 2 hodiny. Pripravime dressing: zmiesame 2 jogurty, 6 lyziciek tatarskej a cesnak.
Maso pecieme na panvici cca 10 – 15 min. Nasledne opecieme placku z jednej aj druhej strany po cca 1 – 2 min. Na placu polozime list salatu, dressing, maso, nakrajanu cibulu a paradajku. Zalejeme este dresingom a zabalime do alobalu.

Ingredients :
Boneless Chicken – 500gm
Bell peppers – 3 No (Red,Yellow, Green)
Onion – 2 small sized
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Chili powder -1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Baking Soda – 1/3 tsp
Vinegar – 1tsp
Soya Sauce – 1tsp
Skewer Sticks
Oil

Method :
1.For Marination, take Chicken and add Baking soda, Vinegar, Soya Sauce, Salt, Giner Garic paste, Chili powder, Coriander powder, Lemon juice and Oil.
2. Let it sit for minimum of 15 minutes.
3. Soak the skewer sticks in water.
4. Chop the Bell Peppers and Onions into fine cubes and add Salt, Oil to it.
5. Put the Marinated Chicken and Veggies into the Skewers.
6. Heat the Iron Tawa for one minute on high flame.
7. Lower the flame and put the Skewers on it.
8. Turn the Chicken Kebabs for every 2 minutes with oil on it, don’t let it burn.
9. Cook the Chicken Kebabs for total 10 minutes and turn off the flame. If you feel undercooked, cook for some more time.

Note – Add spices according to your taste😊❤️.
Yummy Chicken Skewers or Chicken Kebabs are ready to serve.

Lots of protein, and very little oil – This Soya kebab will give you restaurant experience right at home.

Ingredients:
2 cup soya chunks
2-3 finelyc chopped chillie
1 finely chopped onion
finely chopped ginger and garlic
coriander leaves
mint leaves
1.5 tsp garam masala
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp haldi powder
1.5 tsp dhaniya powder (coriander seeds powder)
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
3 tbs dry roasted besan
1 lemon juice
2 tbs oil

Method:
Take 2 cup soya chunks
Boil them in salted water for 5-6 min
Strain water out of it
Wash it with cold water 2-3 times
After boiling 2 cup soya chunks will become 3 cup in size
It will be like a sponge
Squeeze water out
Churn it in mixie
Avoid adding water into mixie
In mixie chutney jar, churn it in small quantity
Add finely chopped onion
Add 2-3 finely chopped chilli
Add finely chopped ginger and garlic
Alternatively you can add ginger garlic poste too
Add coriander leaves
Add mint leaves finely chopped (optional)
Go easy with salt as chunks were boiled in salted water
add dry masalas
1.5 tsp garam masala
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp haldi powder
1.5 tsp dhaniya powder (coriander seeds powder)
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
You can add chopped vegetables as well
take Dry Roasted besan
Alternatively you can take plain maida or bread crumbs
Add 3 tbs dry roasted besan
Add 1 lemon juice
If you feel batter is liquidy, you can add aamchur powder
Form Kebab shape on a stick
And make some in tikki shape
In a pan take 2 tbs oil
Soya chunks and Besan have lots of protein
I am doing shallow fry, but you can deep fry too
Cook from all sides
You can cook on barbeque or open grill with oil brush
Kebabs are ready
Garnish with coriander leave
And serve with green chutney

Soya Chunks Pulao
Ingredients

To marinate Soya chunks
Soya Chunks – 1 Cup
Hot Water
Curd – 1/4 Cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chili Powder – 1 Tsp
Salt – 1/2 Tsp

To make pulao
Basmati Rice – 1 Cup (250 Ml)
Ghee – 2 Tbsp
Oil – 1 Tbsp
Whole Spices
(Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Bay Leaf & Cumin Seeds)
Onion – 2 Nos Chopped
Green Chili – 2 Nos Chopped
Pound Ginger & Garlic – 1 Tsp
Tomato – 2 Nos Chopped
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chili Powder – 1 Tsp
Garam Masala – 1 Tsp
Mint Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Water – 1 1/2 Cups

Method
1. Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15 mins
2. Soak rice for 20 mins
3. Squeeze the soya chunks and marinate it with curd, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt.
4. Let it sit for 20 mins
5. Heat a pressure cooker with some oil, add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon and roast them
6. Add onions, green chilies and saute
7. Add pound ginger garlic and saute along
8. Add tomatoes and saute
9. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and saute
10. Add the soya chunks and cook for 5 mins
11. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt and mix well
12. Add the soaked rice and add enough water
13. Pressure cook for 2 whistles and let it rest for 10 mins
14. Serve the Soya chunks rice hot with some raita.

Soya Chunks Kebab
Ingredients

Soya chunks 50 gms
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic 4 cloves
Green Chili 3
Garam masala powder
Chaat masala powder
Onions 1
Coriander leaves
Maida 2 tbsp
Oil
Salt

Method
1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for about 1 hour
2. Grind ginger, garlic, green chili to a smooth paste
3. Strain the soya chunks from the water and grind it coarsely
4. Add the soya chunks and the ground paste to a bowl
5. Add garam masala, chaat masala, salt, onions, and coriander leaves
6. Mix everything well
7. Add the maida to the mixture and mix well
8. Take a kebab skewer and shape the kebabs onto it
9. Heat some oil for deep-frying
10. Slowly place the kebabs into the hot oil and deep fry them till they golden brown in color
11. Serve it hot with some green chutney.
